The Westin O'Hare, Chicago
TheIJC will take place in the USA for the first time on 12-13 April 2018 at The Westin O’Hare hotel in Chicago. Attendees can expect expert presentations – from both industry and academia – that explore how inkjet technology affects the manufacturing processes of today and tomorrow. Meteor’s business development director Jonathan Wilson will be arguing the case for a multi-disciplinary approach to inkjet press development in his talk on 12th April at 17:00 hrs.
Presentation: Complex engineering for complex challenges: Stepping up inkjet consistency and reliability
Inkjet is no stranger to complex engineering, from printheads to ink delivery systems and drive electronics. The growing demand for high speed, single pass industrial inkjet systems in a myriad of applications presents ever more tricky challenges including cross web calibration, mottling and nozzle out detection/compensation. Tackling these issues requires a multi-disciplinary approach, uniting skills from hardware, software and color management to successfully exceed reliability and print consistency requirements.
